- 1981: Ford moves into class 42 tech & IT services.
- 1996: Ford moves into class 36 finance & insurance.
- 1997: Ford moves into class 25 clothing; class 28 toys & sports goods; class 37 construction & repair; class 39 transport & travel.
- 2000: Ford moves into class 35 advertising & retail; class 38 telecoms; class 41 education & entertainment.
- 2001: Ford moves into class 1 chemicals; class 3 cosmetics & cleaning.
- 2015: Ford moves into class 20 furniture; class 21 kitchenware.
- 2022: Ford moves into class 45 legal & security.
- By 2024, Ford had trademarks in 28 of the 45 classes.
