- Before 1970, Distell already used 11 classes, including class 32 beer & soft drinks, class 33 wines & spirits, class 25 clothing, class 29 meat, dairy & oils, class 30 coffee, flour & sweets.
- 1971: Distell moves into class 20 furniture.
- 1972: Distell moves into class 35 advertising & retail; class 38 telecoms; class 39 transport & travel; class 42 tech & IT services; class 43 restaurants & hotels.
- 1978: Distell moves into class 41 education & entertainment.
- 1979: Distell moves into class 4 oils & fuels.
- 1982: Distell moves into class 8 hand tools.
- 2006: Distell moves into class 11 lighting & appliances.
- 2013: Distell moves into class 28 toys & sports goods.
- 2020: Distell moves into class 45 legal & security.
- By 2024, Distell had trademarks in 23 of the 45 classes.
